Anybody have a scan of a Johnny Guitar Watson LP cover with a nekkid (white) gal sitting on the floor with a guitar in her hands photographed from above - hope I made you curious about the way she holds the guitar :g. Can't find it on the web.

I remember seeing that cover once. It's a blast! What's the title of the album anyhow?

Now that´s what I understand for a sexy (or otherwise, sensual) cover:

EDIT: I mean, no need to see blondies very lightly dressed... (this doesn´t mind I don´t like your covers... I DO LIKE THEM)

I wish I could offer a larger scan of this. This model was also an actress- I remember seeing her face on some early 60's TV shows, but I don't know her name (any other oldtimers out there who know?... just curious)

I caught Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers 4-5 years ago at the Montreal Jazz Festival. Every year the Festival runs some theme stages/time slots. That year it was swing. Smokin' is definitely one of the words I'd use to describe them. Fun, exciting, entertaining are a few others. In a word, they were a blast.

Mikeweil -- that Jeff Palmer album you posted was one that I've been intending to type up and add to the "Worst Liner Notes" thread. Aren't they ridiculous? The guy went nuts with the exclamation points!!!!!!! On every sentence!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't matter what it was about!!!!!!!! I kid you not!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have a copy, and Jim's is still packed up from his move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Might get to it someday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :g

Call me Mike!

Poor Jeff Palmer: Jim usually criticized his playing (I understand his reasons but still dig it) and now you about the liner notes beatup.gif - no love for him at Organissimo ... now where's that sobbing smiley? gushtears.gif
