Mantler, R. Rudd, A. Cyrille, Bob Stewart, et al) Vinyl in exc shape/gatefold jacket shows some shelf wear. 2) Woody Herman - 1963 (Phillips 200-065) $15 (highly rated herd w/ B. Chase, S. Nistico, P. Wilson, N. Pierce, J. Hanna, et al) Vinyl exc/jacket good (one corner shows minor damage) 3) Nancy Wilson/Cannonball Adderley (Capitol SM 1657) $20 Not original pressing, but this copy is still shrink wrapped! 4) Curtis Fuller "Soul Trombone" (Impulse A-13) $20 (w/ F. Hubbard, J. Merritt, C. Walton, J. Heath, G.T. Hogan, and J. Cobb. Jacket shows shelf wear/vinyl very good. 5) Urbie Green "Lets Face the Music and Dance" (RCA Victor - LPM 1667) $15 Great big band arrangements/performance featuring a young Urbie at the top of his range and stylings. Jacket shows some wear/vinyl exc shape 6) Slide Hampton "Two Sides of Slide" (Charlie Parker Records PLP-803) $20 Vinyl/jacket in very good cond. feat: G. Coleman, Benjamin Jacops-El, Jay Cameron, H. Dotson, W. Thomas, E. Khan, L. Humphries 7) John Lewis and Albert Mangelsdorff - "Animal Dance" (Atlantic 1402) $25 Very hard to find. Rare pairing of John Lewis with Albert (pre-multiphonic period). JJ stylings, but w/ adv. harmonic sensibilities. Vinyl/jacket in excellent condition. 8) Albert Mangelsdorff Quintet "Now Jazz Ramwong" (Pacific Jazz ST-20095) $25 Albert's pre multiphonic period. Great European post-bop w/ Gunter Kronberg, Heinz Sauer. Gunter Lenz and Ralf Hubner 9) A. Mangelsdorff - "The Wide Point" (MPS/BASF G22569) $20 Great trio date w/ Palle Danielson and Elvin Jones. Multiphonic period. This recording won German awards. Vinyl in exc shape/jacket shows shelf wear, and one clipped corner. 10) Grachan Moncur III "New Africa" (Actuel 21) $30 A phenomenal release which is hard to locate. w/ A. Shepp, R. Mitchell, A. I don't know whether the price is good, but I do know this one is a bitch to find on CD. The first time I spinned my GDR Amiga LP pressing I went ape shit. Just that you know.
