I'm almost certain the Jazztet show floats around in trader circles, and in very good sound, too. But then again, compressed radio might not sound as good as the soundboard.

I don't think I've seen the Cannonball show pop up, however. Might have to spring for that FLAC download.

I must not have been clear.

I listened to it and I knew right away that it was 'It's Time'. I wanted independent confirmation that it was the composition in question so I don't look like an idiot when I e-mail them.

I didn't say 'I heard a rumor that it was 'It's Time', I said that I believe it is 'It's Time'. Wasn't it obvious that it meant I listened to it?

Jeez, get a grip.

Bertrand.

Dude, just tell them the truth, that cut XYZ is "It's Time". Nobody looks like an idiot when they tell the truth.

Well, sometimes they do, but that's not their fault...world gone wrong, etc.

But ok, consider it independently confirmed.

Thanks, Jim, I will send them an e-mail.

And I will buy the whole concert this w/e.

Bertrand.

PS

Tried to send you a PM, but your box is full. Just to make sure you know that it was not you I was annoyed at.

Finally Wolfgang's has reached back into the vaults instead of all of these 70s performances in non-Newport settings. From 1965:

Johnny Coles and George Coleman with Toshiko, Joe Chambers and Gene Taylor!

Does this mean we'll get more from 1965 sometime soon? Some pretty interesting possibilities

here. How about the Bartz/Gilmore/Morgan edition of the Messengers? :excited:
