Khojem
Hello there! I'm looking for an LP called Balboa Blues. It's on the Mark 56 Records label. As far as I can tell, this was an Anaheim, California, based label. It should be mostly piano jazz. It features Cass Arpke & Edgar Hayes & Jimmie Lane. I have no idea if there was a stereo and mono release. From what I know of the label, it was probably mono only. If someone knows, please let me know. Picture below. Vinyl should be in VG+ or M- shape. Would love the cover in the same shape. Preferably M- as well. $10 + domestic media mail shipping (not over $4). Thanks! Can't seem to add a picture. Let's try this again.
Chas
FWIW, here's a pic of the copy that's up on Ebay right now for $62 o.b.o. : Pianist Edgar Hayes is seated at the piano.
Khojem
FWIW, here's a pic of the copy that's up on Ebay right now for $62 o.b.o. : Pianist Edgar Hayes is seated at the piano. Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, the seller would not give me a decent price on the LP. It's not worth anywhere near $62 or $99 for that matter. The hunt continues. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know. Thanks again! Edited November 29, 2010 by Khojem
Khojem
Finally found a copy. About $30. Kind of expensive for an LP, but this thing is impossible to find. I hope to listen to it as soon as I get a new turntable.
