She had an incredible voice and did some very beautiful and innovative things through the past three decades. She was a great talent who sang, wrote her own music, played several instruments on her albums, and produced herself. Her 1988 album 'Naked To The World' is one of my all-time Favorites, and I also really like her other late-Motown and early-Epic albums.
