Album Covers with Gratuitous Punctuation

I think some people need to look up the meaning of gratuitous. There are more than a couple of albums here that have perfectly proper punctuation with nothing "unwarranted or not called for by the circumstances."

I also didn't know that Hampton, Lunceford and Webster were hits.

Well, I guess they didn't want to say 'which were not famous masterpieces', so they left it as implied. Rather like Blue Note used to say - 'Other Blue Note albums you will enjoy' and leave out the 'or else'.
