Miles Ahead has Ron's earliest recordings with Miles in mid-April of 1963 (at Columbia Studios in Hollywood) -- which off the top of my head, I think are on the "Seven Steps to Berlin" box. I thought the Half-Note was a one-off. I saw the trio a couple of times in Montreal and didn't even know about the existence of the quartet. I do have a recording from the Half Note with Wynton and Wes with Ron Carter sitting in for Paul Chambers. Ron Carter was all over the map playing everywhere.
