Not sure why I bother to pre-order at Amazon US. I am still in "shipping soon" mode when J&R has it for the same price right now and it's just two blocks from me.

I preordered from Amazon in November, and even with my prime membership it still hasn't shipped! I don't get it.

Got mine today. I popped in the DVD mostly as an experiment to see how long it would take my three year old to squawk and ask for Phineas and Ferb. To my surprise he made it most of the way through Directions before walking out. He was watching pretty intently for longer than I would have expected.

$32.99 at Popmarket.

And sold out. Already a bit cheaper from some of the Amazon resellers, and my current usual best price resellers (importcds and moviemars) haven't even listed it yet.

Import CD's have it listed for $30.99 -> was going to go that way but Amazon UK is even better @ 19.04 pounds (comes down to 15.80 after VAT removed)

I'm really enjoying this set, as I knew I would. I watched the DVD of the Berlin concert this morning; I've had a copy for years, but of course, the quality of this issue is much better.

Apart from the sometimes astonishing interaction of the quintet, I've always thought that 1969-1970 represented Miles' absolute peak as a trumpet player - same for Wayne Shorter as a saxophonist.
