Pete C
I don't have the recording, but are you asking because you recognize the tune and believe it has also been recorded under another name?

clifford_thornton
Wouldn't mind having those LPs either. I have "Invitation" but that's a somewhat different bag.
brownie
I purchased the original LP of vol. 1 'Things Have Got to Change' when it was released and decided to skip vol. 2 when it came out. Just too many Shepp LPs being published at the time and I was not really impressed about it. Did I miss something?

Did I miss something? well, there are only about 4-5 official and bootleg shepp concert releases from the 1970's. for me, live 1970's shepp is hit and miss, mostly depending on the tune being played. btw, someone claiming to be shepp replied to my email: Subject: re: [Fwd: Archie Shepp - Parisian Concert, Vol. 2 CD] Yes. The fact that his name is spelt right in the correspondence is good evidence it really is Mr. Shepp
