ejp626
Came across this the other day at Amazon: Orango Apparently, this unfinished work fits between Shostakovich's The Bolt and his 4th Symphony. Esa-Pekka Salonen conducted the work with a staging by Peter Sellars. Sounds like a pretty wild time: Orango review

ejp626
Ok, curious if anyone else has ordered and/or heard this one. It just arrived and I will listen this afternoon. Looking forward to it actually. In terms of packaging, I have something in a slightly wider slimline case with no back cover or liner tray. It does come with liner notes booklet. It looks legit -- shrinkwraped and with a gluestrip thing across the top. Just wondering if this is how it comes nowadays and if this is how DG is trying to keep costs a bit lower. Edit: It's actually quite a nice booklet with the complete libretto of Orango in Russian and English and some additional background info.
