slide_advantage_redoux
Heard a song on Musak lately that surprised you? When I was in upstate New York in the early 80s when a member of the West Point Jazz Knights (that is an entirely different topic there), I overheard an arrangement of Moment's Notice in a department store. I could hardly believe what I was hearing. I stopped pushing my shopping cart on the spot and listened to the music. And the arrangement wasn't bad! GA Russell
Perhaps ten years ago I heard 7+7 Is. I didn't think that Musak had many Love fans.
Michael Weiss
I heard the Berg piano sonata in Newark airport's terminal C. Couldn't believe it. How's that for ambient music! The Magnificent Goldberg
In a pretty cafe in deeply suburban Tokyo, I heard some Pharoah Sanders (couldn't be sure what), followed by 'Moonlight in Vermont' by Sonny Stitt, from the Denon album of the same title.
