I really love tenor duos, including with piano (or bass or drums or other horns). I like Lloyd and Moran, to the extent I "know" him. (I haven't bought but a handful of recordings in the past 20 years due to logistical challenges.) So I was delighted to get a preview in the form of a full-length replay on the "radio" (in Santiago, Chile). Before long, I plan to add this to the handful of recent acquisitions. I don't want to endorse this a "great" in absolute terms, at least based on one listen. But for me and my penchant for tenor duos, it's a "win".

No "Aunt Hagar"*, but you get "Rosetta".

* That I recall.
