pro football weekly says good bye

"

"Over the last five years our majority owner and each of the minority partners invested a tremendous amount of money, time and effort to try to build a bridge for PFW from the rapidly deteriorating world of old media to the new, exploding market of digital media and glitzy, new products. We built some truly great stuff that you all seemed to love, but try as we might, we couldn’t get enough of you to pay what it cost us to deliver it. There comes a time when there is just no more money to lose, and now we are forced to close the doors.""

NFL free agent receiver Donte' Stallworth tweeted on Monday: "For anyone who thinks there will be a circus in New England with the (Tim) Tebow signing, I have a bridge in #Brooklyn for sale..."

Right. The Pats will make Tebow effective and really rub it the Jets' noses in it.

:rofl::rofl: which would be awesomely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CBS Sports’ Mike Freeman later confirmed the news via Twitter, adding that Tebow “will study a great deal of tight end.”

I have to agree with this. If Tebow couldn't surpass someone as terrible as Sanchez...he's not going to surpass Mallett as #2.

I think the signing has a lot to do with Mike Silver reporting on Yahoo in the last month that people in the organization saying Belichick didn't like Tebow. They signed him to a two year non-guaranteed money contract.

They won't have to pay him a cent if they cut him before the season....which really tells you there was absolutely no market for Tebow in the NFL to sign it.

Aaron Hernandez's house being checked as part of a homicide investigation that involves a car registered/rented (they can't make up their minds) in his name.....and the person was allegedly murdered a mile from his home.

Hernandez is now also allegedly involved in a previous incident involving someone being shot by him in the face. It's not criminal, but civil. Not sure how you shoot someone in the face (even if it was accidentally) and some sort of criminal charge are not filed.

could it be that the pats saw the hernandez disintegration coming and plugged in a big strong fast 250 pounder with good hands who likes to kneel?

"Police plan to go back to the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told Michele McPhee of ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources said."
