This is what Ebay thinks I like:

Picture Item Title Price # of Bids Time Left

Fine Young Cannibals GOOD THING - CD Single GBP 0.99 -- 30m

Bic Runga - 'Live In Concert' - NZ Only CD GBP 16.00 10 31m

Jackson Browne - For Everyman CD GBP 5.00 1 35m

These Days - Bon Jovi (CD) GBP 4.20 5 36m

ALIZEE NEW JAPAN CD-SINGLE ( RARE) GBP 16.00 8 37m

Jackson Browne makes my skin crawl, BonJovi make me cover my ears, Fine Young Cannibals had maybe two tunes I liked about 15 years ago, and the other guys I never heard of!!! Does Ebay stay in touch with a PHILLYQ in an alternate universe? Just asking...

You are right about Bruce Dern.

I think Berigan MIGHT LIKE Gertrude Stein.

He might not like Jim Thompson, but Thompson is one of the scariest writers I've ever read (the books are so much better than the movies made from them too.) He puts you in the heads of these characters who then move like a blaze towards the rim of hell and you scream at them to stop and turn around but no they take you down to the fiery pits with them. . . .

And once you've lived in the South and Southwest you can understand his characters in ways you don't if you don't/haven't. . . .

interesting recommendations guys! I worked at bookstores for most of the 90's, but when you can get 25% off cds every day, and 30 bucks of credit a month to spend, why waste it on books! ;) (I could also check out 2 books at a time to read at home, REALLY miss that these days :( )

Now I am into....

AMERICAN ARTIST MAGAZINES 1970-73 $24.99 1 1h 05m

Time Life Nature/Science Annual 1970-1976 $19.50

$33.50 --

1h 15m

Peter Max Set of 4 Mini Books 1970 Wow ! $95.00 -- 1h 16m

Crown Zellerbach~Logger Book~Camas, Wa.1970 $25.53 17 1h 35m

1970 Hansel & Gretel 3D Puppet Story Book $9.99 1 1h 54m
