BERIGAN
I am sure there is a good reason for it , but when doing a search, and you use a 3 letter word (Like when I have tried to pull up old DVD threads, or just tried to do an XTC search) this message comes up... The error returned was: One or all of your search keywords were below 4 characters or you are searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please go back and increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords. If you don't know who started the thread, or another word to toss in, what to do???? Can that be turned down to 3 characters, or will that cause the board to crash? Claude
The Minimum Search word lenght can be set in the admin control panel http://www.invisionpower.com/documentation...hp?page=27&p=19 Allowing a search on a word with 3 caracters would be better indeed. I don't think it will increase the server load, as most members don't like to search
