A Lark Ascending
Surprised it took them so long. All my life I waited until Friday or, more often, Saturday to chase down a new release. Monday is a work day. Record buying has always been an end of the week pleasure. Since going 'download' I do most of my purchasing on a Friday/Saturday. Edited February 26, 2015 by A Lark Ascending
danasgoodstuff
What?! You mean Tuesday is no longer my good news day? When I worked in record stores that was how you knew a customer was really hardcore, if they knew Tues was new release day (in north America). mjazzg
I'm with Bev in that I could never understand the logic of a Monday release day. Now it makes not an iota of difference There was always something special about getting a new release , under the counter, early on a friday from the local indie shop. It was never the same once it closed down
.:.impossible
The new releases end up in the used bin every day of the week!
Rooster_Ties
I remember being excited for Tuesdays back in the day. Always swung by my local CD store back in Kansas City on Tuesdays right after work. What the hell else was there to get excited about on Tuesdays? I liked it falling then, actually. Brad
I always liked Tuesdays as a release day, particularly as it coincided with the release day for books.
