Story on Photographer Chuck Stewart

Recommended Posts

Many thanks. I will never forget going to his office to select a cover shot for the Lucky Thompson record I issued. He pulled out a huge folder of large format transparencies and let me go through the lot. I selected an image, he produced large scissors, cut it out of the strip and handed it to me.

A gigantic Coltrane print hung on the wall - it later appeared on the cover of Stellar Regions.

The Sound I Saw is a personal favorite. Picked up a signed copy years ago.
