Taking The Dog For A Walk - Conversations With British Improvisers

Recommended Posts

This is essential stuff: http://www.ptd.lu/films/taking-the-dog-for-a-walk.html

It is a thoroughly vital and engaging film and it gets my highest recommendation. Plus there's a bonus disc of interviews and an audio disc of Steve Noble, John Edwards, and Alex Ward.

It also features our very own Alexander Hawkins!

10/10.

Looks intriguing.

I will admit to having an irrational negative response to the way that Thurston Moore's suddenly seems to have become such an important figure in Brit improv. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big SY fan and respect his efforts in that field but I do wonder what merits his inclusion in something like this film.

Sorry for that diversion - it's just a personal soap box I like to clamber atop whenever the opportunity presents itself
