l p
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/os-marianna-seachrist-stalking-arrest-20150709-story.html....The victim, who lives below Seachrist on Bay Port Road, said she had to walk around her home with noise-canceling headphones on her ears to deal with the loud sounds....The system included three low-frequency speakers mounted to a board and placed on the floor in the living room, hallway and closet of the home. The speakers were facing downward towards the floor, and weighted down by dumbbells and cinder blocks."The three speakers were daisy chained together and wired to the amplifier," the arrest warrant said. "One of the speakers in the hallway was being cooled by a running floor fan."Deputies also found a Blackberry tablet wired to an amplifier, which played a "workout mp3" on repeat. That produced a bass-clicking noise that vibrated the room, deputies said."The amplifier was plugged into what appeared to be a remote internet device that can be operated remotely by smartphone to turn the system on and off from the power source," the arrest warrant said..... Scott Dolan
One more idiot out to make someone else's life miserable.Agreed.But, how can it be classified as stalking?
Jim Alfredson
Obviously there is much more to this story. Why was the upstairs neighbor intent on making the other person miserable? Did something happen between the two of them?
Scott Dolan
No doubt, Jim. There's definitely more to the story, and they seemed to go out of their way to only tell one side of it.
l p
i'd be curious to know what kind of headphones the victim preferred to use to block out the noise - for the 'Your favorite headphones' thread.http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php?/topic/67994-your-favorite-headphones/ my favorite part of the story is that the speaker in the hallway was being cooled by a fan. Simple Jones
I did a little checking on the web, and the "victim's" address isn't on Bay Port Rd. According to WhitePages.com, she lives on Tarawood Dr. with her husband, who is strangely not mentioned at all in the news story. I checked Orange County Property Appraiser and she and her husband own both properties, but the one on Tarawood is homesteaded. It also looks like Ms. Seachrist has tried to get injunctions against her and her two adult children, and even got the daughter cited for animal nuisance. There is definitely more going on here. Both the adult children are facing DUI charges, as well. The son was passed out in the middle of a major road, and the daughter was so sloshed she hit another car and when the police came, couldn't follow simple instructions and blew three times the legal limit on a breathalyzer.I'm think it was the "kids" who were actually living there, and there has been some back and forth between Ms. Seachrist and them (especially if they are regularly intoxicated) and the mother's been stepping in because her loser offspring are incapable of handling things on their own. She's probably got the police on her side somehow (she bought a condo in Dr. Phillips for her kids - do the math), and I'm willing to bet the report is exaggerated.Who stays in a place for months under those "horrible" conditions when she has an expensive house somewhere else with her husband? Simple Jones
thanks for the planted story. we will follow blindly. Are you referring to me? Check WhitePages.com yourself. Check the Orange County Property Appraiser and Clerk of Courts sites. They will show you the same things they showed me.
