First class, as all issues in this series. Do you know Srradella's music? If you like his style, this is a must. But rather different from either Monteverdi's operas or those from later baroque - composed very close to the speech rhythm of the libretto, still highly melodic but no repetitions of aria verses or ritornellos. I like this better than later operas, but maybe you have to get acquainted with 17th century Italian baroque operas. It is highest level, musically, the composition as well as the performance. Thank Andrea de Carlo and the research  team of the Stradella festival and the works edition for their ongoing efforts.
