I don't know if it's true but, even if it's not, there's sometimes truth to be found in the apocryphal (plus, it's a funny story): someone posted this online, about Brian Wilson's autobiography: Don Henley clutching his teenage copy of Pet Sounds for Brian to autograph. Brian signs it and writes. "Thanks for all the great songs, Don." Hands it back and then says "Wait a minute." Crosses out "great" and writes "good."
