My daughter often joins in clapping after songs when listening to live albums.  I don't know how well known Hedges is, but clarinet fans should check him out.

And again.  I hadn't used the queue function in Google Play before and it apparently had this on repeat.  I saw no reason not to give it another spin.

Is that a 335 on the cover? It looks like that, though the trussrodcover is somewhat strange. That's where the image is a bit blurred.

Bluesnik, you got me on that one. I don't know guitars.

But whatever Rogers is playing, the music sounds good. :D

Alfredo Rodríguez - The Invasion Parade (Mack Avenue)
with Henry Cole, Pedrito Martínez, Román Filiú, Esperanza Spaulding, a.o.

Fascinating music.

Billy Harper as blowtorch bearer ....

I fixed that for you. :D  I caught him with The Cookers earlier this year and the opening song featured a Harper solo that was 15-20 minutes of fire.  It was great, one of those moments where part of me was in disbelief at what I was witnessing.

Fascinating music.

I heard two live sets of Alfredo Rodriguez/ Pedrito Martinez (augmented on some songs by two additional Cuban percussionists) earlier this year; that was some white hot music.
