The Berlin Concert by Angelika Niescier (Intakt, 2017).

I'm particularly taken by Tyshawn Sorey's drumming on this one. It is a lot more traditional than his more abstract work on e.g., Pillars - less ground breaking perhaps, but it's nice to hear the mixture between the extraordinary dynamics of his recent work and a more conventional drummer's role.

Burton Greene Quartet - S/T (ESP, 1966).

Marion Brown is particularly good on this, and I have always found Greene's work more convincing than some critics apparently did.

It's crazy that it took 31 years for this to see release.

Herb Pomeroy and his Stablemates "Live at the Stable, Boston 1955" Fresh Sound cd.

Though this is an expanded release, most of it was originally on Transition Records, "Jazz in a Stable" with this cover. . . .

A very interesting album, two sessions, one with Bennie Green and Sonny Rollins, Morpheus is quite a strange sounding tune, and the more easy listening set with the tenor tandem Al Cohn Zoot Sims.

Slightly different cover than"Tempus-Fugue-it" album, but the same music. I have also seen a very different cover of this music with a completely irrelevant photo and titled "Countdown".31QF3X1739L._AC_UY218_.jpg
