What do you think of that one, jazzbo?   I love Kral's singing, but I'm only familiar with her 70s releases.

I like it. I have the Toshiba 20 bit lp facsimile stereo version. It's not unlike a contemporary June Christy album.

I really want this!  Probably going to wait till I get my tax refund check early next year, though--most of which is set aside for practical matters, but there's $100+ that I'm reserving for an extravagant purchase... and this may well be the winning choice in that category.

I know what you mean. I probably wouldn’t have gotten it yet except I waited on the 1999 super deluxe and it went oop and doubled + in price. I enjoy Sign O The Times so much more I didn’t want to miss it.

Kei Akagi - Playroom, with Rick Margitza on several tracks, John Patitucci or Bob Harrison on bass and Tom Brechtlein on drums.  Akagi is a Miles alum.  I like this one and Mirror Puzzle, but I haven't heard anything recent from him.

I saw him with Miles and his playing was the highlight of the Show. Before that, the Keyboard Players who worked for Miles were more for the Sound, not for solo playing, but Kei Akagi really is an virtuoso….

Disc 3: This just may be becoming my go-to Liebman and Beirach.  Between a disc of Lookout Farm, a disc of duos and a disc of Quest, it's a one-stop shop giving a nice overview of a great partnership/friendship.

And I was Looking  Forward so much to hear  them live in March this year , but it was channeld due to the Pandemie. Dave Liebman was one of the first great saxophonists I saw live decades ago...
