Listening the last disc of this set now. Cool version of Satch singing and playing Brubeck's "The Duke." I have mixed emotions about the whole "Real Ambassadors" project, but it did feature some interesting pairings.

I can understand the mixed emotions, but I've had a mono lp of this title since the early 'seventies and over time it's become a sentimental favorite. What I used to think as corny I now really dig. It's like the antidote to the Aglo Saxon Party line we face now.

Pat Thomas on piano, Seymour Wright (who I don't know) on alto, Joel Grip on bass and Antonin Gerbal on drums. 

Mine's in the post. Really looking forward to it.  I've enjoyed the previous ones
