Bob's Limited Edition produced many wonderful recordings, but this one IMHO, is the summit. 9 hours ago, John Tapscott said: Ahh yes its excellent. John, have them all = the vinyls & the CD's. He is my favorite beside Shorty Rogers BB. In addition to the official CD above there has been a broadcast from that Matinee at Villa Berg on May 13, 2001 with some more tracks which do not appear on that CD. Have here a CD-.R copy with that program from my buddy in Berlin. .... and some time ago I made another CD-R for myself with material I recorded from radio HR after his visit in Frankfurt, Germany. This was recorded at the HR studio at radio Frankfurt. Edited 5 July by jazzcorner
Posted 6 July (edited) First listen: James Brown - Song Within the Story (NGP, 2022) with Clark Johnston (b) and Anthony Michelli (d); Mike Murley (ts) joins them for three of the ten cuts Last week, I heard/saw Toronto-based jazz guitarist James Brown perform. He'd just released a new CD, so I picked it up afterwards. Edited 6 July by HutchFan
