Posted 7 Dec 2018 (edited) To me, Bill Evans' recordings for Verve are very "hit-or-miss," especially compared to the music he released on Riverside and Fantasy. Some of the 80s production gets in the way but the songs are pretty strong. Can't remember what I thought of it on release.
