Milestones
I was going to insert this into a thread i started on the Lovano/Liebman record (Compassion), but it makes sense to start this up new. Liebman does indeed seem busy, though always on small labels. Lovano appears to have ended his long Blue Note run. I can't seem to find much Lovano news, and his recent records have been live performances--usually quite a few years back. I'm wondering where he is going in terms of distribution (his own label perhaps?), and what projects are upcoming.
JSngry
Maybe he took a cue from Billy Butler and moved to a farm?
clifford_thornton
as long as he didn't buy the farm.
Mark Stryker
I have no idea about Lovano's recording status, but the group he calls his Classic Quartet just completed a long tour both in the states and abroad, and he'll be co-leading a quintet with Chucho Valdes that will be touring later this year, including a stop at the Detroit Jazz Festival. kh1958
His website shows lots of concert appearances in June, which seems incompatible with farming.

Depends. Corn isn't typically ready until mid July and after. Edited April 19, 2017 by Mark Stryker
JSngry
Maybe he's a gentleman farmer.
