Percussion master Adam Rudolph played and studied with Fred Anderson, Don Cherry and Yusef Lateef, and today leads a variety of ensembles, from symphony size to his Go: Organic Orchestra, Moving Pictures (octet), Hu Vibrational, and a wide range of duets. Jazz From Blue Lake, the radio program, attempted a presentation of his wide ranging music last evening as Adam Rudolph and Hamid Drake appear Sunday in the Underground Concert Series in Grand Rapids.
