He played the Texas Ranger Earl McGraw in Mr. Rodriguez’s “From Dusk Till Dawn” (1996) and reprised the role in “Kill Bill” and “Grindhouse.” His son, James Parks, appeared in the “Kill Bill” movies as McGraw’s son, Edgar.
