Favourite author was Edgar Alan Poe. Interview was recorded in 65 (during the Stockholm Jazz Festival) & he moved to Europe in 46 - his accent over the 20 years had developed into a very continental one. Benny Golson, maybe? Or, what European player was working in that style? It's not consistently Jug-ish, but there are several touches that speak out.
