T.D.
Wow, I might go to this...a little more than an hour's drive. Here's something I just heard about today, not sure what to think: Jimmy Cobb in Saugerties 8/
Tom 1960
Tom, I can't speak to the supporting cast. That may be best left for others. That said, Opus 40 is a great venue for enjoying music. If you get bored you can always walk the site. It's truly an incredible place.
T.D.
Thanks, Tom. I've never been to Opus 40, but have heard that it's very cool. Trouble is, from the vague info I've seen the lineup for the Jimmy Cobb event seems (IMO) strange and maybe not so interesting. I'll look for more details. More likely to go to the Kingston concert. I'm still kicking myself over a big event (incl. JOE LOVANO (sax), JUDI SILVANO (voice), BRUCE ARNOLD (guitar), MARILYN CRISPELL (piano), ROSWELL RUDD (trombone), JOHN MENEGON (bass), SUSIE IBARRA (drums) ) I missed at the Senate Garage a few months ago.
