Hardbopjazz
Wow. There is so much music of all styles on this page.
medjuck
I was about to post this story too. But is everything really free to download and how do we search it? I wonder if there are any jazz tracks never released on Lp or cd.
Hardbopjazz
On the left hand side is a search field. See the below URL. https://archive.org/details/georgeblood Edited August 12, 2017 by Hardbopjazz
Dan Gould
I used the filters to find jazz, blues and R&B discs: https://archive.org/details/georgeblood?and%5B%5D=subject%3A%22Jazz%22&and%5B%5D=subject%3A%22Blues%22&and%5B%5D=subject%3A%22Rhythm+%26+Blues%22&sort=&page=2 Click on the image of the record and it brings up mucho detail, including notes on which transfer was considered "best". On the right of screen is a box with links to downloads and the "best" transfer is named in a simpler way to make it easy to grab that one if you want. (Wow, these are huge files. FLAC for Eddie Taylor's Bad Boy is 74 MB!)
Ken Dryden
There are also some radio broadcasts on that website. I've recorded a solo concert by Roland Hanna and a performance of the music of Edgard Varese, emceed by Frank Zappa.
JSngry
I see some sources listed as Internet Archives, which if it's what i think it is, has been a fascinating site for years, just go blind, stumble through, and see where you land. Is this a new iteration of that, or just what?
Adam
archive.org = the Internet Archive, always has. Not a new iteration. https://archive.org/ Huge Grateful Dead collection on there too.
