catesta Posted February 23, 2018 Report Share Posted February 23, 2018 I don't have any personal experience with it but a neighbor of mine recently used a container service like that. It seemed to have worked well since like you, they did not have to move all at once. It definitely is getting popular. It's interesting that some of the freight/trucking companies also offer a similar service in which they drop a trailer at your home and you load it up, they haul it and drop it at new location. Isn't that "out of the frying pan, into the fire" when it comes to rough winters? I'm guessing there's family in Buffalo, or are you just allergic to Florida? We always drive from our home to Port Huron/Sarnia across Ontario to the Peace Bridge. Urinated many times at the On Route between London and Hamilton. GregK Posted February 24, 2018 Report Share Posted February 24, 2018 yeah we used a Pod last year when we moved to Baltimore. seemed to work out just fine, price was decent, they were on time with both pickup and delivery. nothing got broken or lost. i didn't enjoy packing and unpacking the Pod but that was the only negative.
