Do you know Charlie Parker?

I got them all right, but am skeptical that Bird had the King super 20 designed for him, or whatever the question was. He played it, yeah, but I don't think it was designed for him, I'd need solid verification on that. But it was the only answer that was even half-possible.

Agree. He played it, even endorsed it, and I think I've seen references that some horns had his named engraved on it, perhaps as if it was a "Charlie Parker model." But that's not the same thing as it was designed for him. I'm by no means a saxophone historian,, but I've been around the instrument and players talking horns for most of my life and I've never heard folks say that King designed the Super 20 expressly for Bird. Doesn't mean they didn't,, but I want proof.

8/10, but half of that was educated guesses.  Given the amount of Parker I own and listen to (not tons), I was expecting to get 5 or 6 at best, but it didn't hurt that I lived in Kansas City for 17 years (or I wouldn't have ever gotten Jay McShann, and possibly not the Basie one either).
