I am pretty sure the Dex in Tokyo (with Kenny Drew, NHOP) is out there in private-recording trade land but it does have two bonus tracks.

The last thing I 'need' is (even) more Woody Shaw.  But if the reports on this one are good, I know I won't be able to resist getting it.

How often have you heard a bad report on a live recording of that band.  Might as well pre-order it

Tokyo 1981 just arrived. Sound is well balanced but slightly shaky mono. It’s perfectly adequate and so far my impression is that the band have their A game on.

I’m glad I didn’t bother with getting the LP version as the audio quality isn’t up to it. For Shaw fans not audiophiles.

I'm a "Shaw fan" not an audiophile. Waiting for the CD to arrive.
