mikeweil
There were two CD releases of this sax/organ team on Delmark. I have both. My question regards the data given on the following two releases from the anniversaries of the label: Delmark CDDX-050 — Delmark - 50 Years Of Jazz And Blues Delmark CDDE-916 — Delmark - 60 Years Of Jazz Both included a track from Stitt with Patterson, "Four" and "Parker's Mood". All I need to know is the name of the drummer and the recording date as stated in the credits of these two releases (I know what's written in all other sources). Any board member owning one or both of these releases, please look it up and post it here - many thanks!
Brad
I looked at the Delmark site and it says Billie James. The site says 1969. I happen to own another disc the three of them made together, Made for Each Other. Edited July 5, 2018 by Brad
Chuck Nessa
I have both of those but they are packed for shipping. If you don't have the answer by then, remind me.
mikeweil
Thanks, Chuck, how long will it take? BTW - Is the postal mailbox adress still valid? 12 hours ago, Brad said: I looked at the Delmark site and it says Billie James. The site says 1969. I have both Delmark CDs, as I said, but need to know if the box set has different information - whenever possible, I cross-check questionable discographical information. The address will be good for a couple of months.
