walt Posted August 11, 2018 Report Share Posted August 11, 2018 (edited) Been digging this new release on the Umlaut label.These days i'm more willing to check out trumpet-bass-drums trio recordings than sax-bass-drums albums.This one's a keeper.Reminds me a bit of Bill Dixon-Vade Mecum,particularly the way Louis Laurain crafts his sound on trumpet.I post an excerpt from a track on the cd.Hope you like it.
