Larry Kart
I always preferred Henderson when he got foxy and oblique, rather than hot. This is a good example. It's his solo on the final track, "Neither Here Nor There," of Mulgrew Miller's album "Hand in Hand," which begins at about 53.18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzRv6WM8PAU&start_radio=1&list=RDGzRv6WM8PAU Larry Kart
JSngry
Sounds like Joe to me! Not sure why/how this is "foxier" than the norm, though. Then again, I've long loved the way the guy plays, both what he plays and how he plays it. Also like the way Kenny Garrett is playing here. At some point he seems to have become one of those Geric Badasses, but there for a good while he was working that quirk.
