JohnS
Are there any? I haven''t come across any expanded cd issues. But there must be more material from many of the sessions. The only ones i've come across were four tracks on a Musica Jazz cd. Two duets by David Murray and Dave Burrell, one track by the WSQ and one by the Clarinet Summit. JohnS
Perhaps there'll be a "Rare Tracks" cd one of these days.
Rooster_Ties
Is kind of curious, especially for the CD issues of previously LP-only (pre-CD) dates. I mean, not that every session would have had alternates or outtakes, but you'd have to think that at least a few of them would.
JSngry
I'm sure there have been alternates. The question is what has/did the label do with them?
mjzee
Chuck once posted here that many of these sessions were artist-produced. In those cases, I'd think any outtakes/alternates would be in the possession of the artists.
