I remember being thrilled to come across this as a new import at the Washington Square Mall's Listening Booth circa 1979.  "Hey!  We're the Ramones, this one's called 'Rockaway Beach'!!"

Can't remember where I bought mine, some record shop in suburban Reading, but I was equally excited.

Never really forgave them for not turning up to headline the Reading Festival, I even had a 'gabba gabba hey' tee printed up especially.  I wonder where the LP is now...

Television were one of my fave bands when I was 15 or 16.

Loving all the Television references--incredible band that I still listen to quite a lot from time to time.  Same-era, same-scene band on my CD player right now.  It's the 2001 Rhino reissue and includes a blistering live set from the Roxy in August 1976:

That's a good one. Not that easy to find anymore.

New album. Sounds 'vintage Pretenders'.

Best Spanish post-punk group. Our Joy Division. Same short career with just an LP and a bunch of EPs. Dark and dirty.
