Loved that disc when it first came out! And I still revisit it from time to time...

Yes! Every song has 'single' written all over it! Their 2nd album "Pure" was really good, too.

I read an article about her a few weeks ago and she has a lot of health issues.

Parkinson's disease. The recent documentary film about her is very good.

A friend of mine knows her. He goes over to her house occasionally and they watch movies or listen to records.

"Hair", "Aquarius", "Walkin' in Space", "Where Do i Go", "Easy to Be Hard", "Good Morning Starshine", "Let The Sunshine In", :I Got Life".  Amazing songs from that play.  The story has not held up, but some of the music sure has.

I went to the original play; it was a high school graduation present from my parents.  I was looking at the back of the album and it says Diane Keaton was in it. Must have been an early role.

Yes, she was born in 1946, so would have been very young.

I think it was produced in 1969 so she would have been 23 or so.

I also thought in 69 but ran across an article celebrating the 50th anniversary in 2018. Melba Moore was in it too.

A couple of articles.
