My longtime friend drummer Doug Mitchell, who passed away this year, was a big fan of guitarist Lage Lund. Based on the two Lund albums I've heard, he had a point.

Larry, I listened to Zach Brock's Purple Sounds (Criss Cross, 2014) today, and Lund is featured on it.  He sounded great, like someone who's building on and extending Jim Hall's approach to the instrument. 

Made me want to hear those two discs you recommended. :tup
