duaneiac
Is it at all possible he is merely pining for the fjords?
Kevin Bresnahan
Mr Creosote ate his last thin mint. Thank you Mr. Jones - you certainly got me to laugh like hell quite a few times.
sidewinder
'Not the Messiah - but a Very Naugthty Boy'. I will miss Terry Jones no longer being around. He was always a witty and informative presence in more recent years on terrestrial TV covering historical/classics matters (in which he was expert), until his sad final illness kicked in. A very kind man too, by all accounts.

Clunky
Very sad news. He’d clearly been unwell for some time. I love all the Pythons but he was special

You'd think xenophobic Brexiters like John Cleese would want to go first. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, John.
ejp626
According to Steve Coogan, Terry Jones took the Monty Python tapes with him from the BBC (either bought or nicked them), so it is very possible there wouldn't be much of a Python legacy at all with Terry's far-sightedness. I mean the movies of course and the LPs, but you need the movies and the original episodes together to form such a towering legacy. So one more cheer for Terry Two Sheds (cause he needed both to store all those tapes) Jones: https://www.classicfm.com/music-news/remembering-terry-jones-genius-comedy-sketch/
