jcam_44 Posted August 13, 2020 Report Share Posted August 13, 2020 So recently I've been digging into the work of Rick Countryman. I've ordered about 10 of his releases via squidco. Multiple configurations include Sabu Toyozumi, Christian Bucher, Simon Tan, amongst others. A lot of live recordings, will really good sound quality on a few different labels or self released. Not a lot of background on him aside for he studied under the wonderful Bert Wilson. He sticks to Alto Saxophone on all that I have heard but apparently started on Baritone.
