sidewinder
Very sad news - A classy player who played on diverse, important dates. We seem to be losing these few remaining and important players from the classic era at an alarming rate. RIP. Yes, Brownie - ‘impecable’ is spot on in the case of Mr Persip. Peter Friedman
According to LORD, Persip was on 240 recording sessions. He played with a very wide range of musicians. I was going to try to select 2 or 3 favorites, but there were so many wonderful sessions that I gave up trying to narrow it down to just a few.
