It could give some of us the nudge to finally close some gaps. In my case, Andrew Hill's Point of Departure stands out. I own every Andrew Hill Blue Note aside from Point of Departure and Compulsion!!!!!. I think that when I bought most of my Hill albums, I was focused on finding the OOP titles and figured that Point of Departure would be around. Three that I need to get and just haven't yet is Wayne Peet/Vinny Golia - No Reverse, Vinny Golia/Ken Filano - The Art of Negotiation, and Vinny Golia/Henry Kaiser/Bob Moses/Damon Smith/Weasel Walter - Astral Plane Crash. Agreed on both! I’ve streamed Astral Plane Crash multiple times just haven’t added it to the collection yet. I’m well over 60 led or co-led Vinny releases so I can’t stop now. Haha.
