This looks pretty interesting, i did like this trio of Gary Peacock, Masabumi Kikuchi & Motohiko Hino, not cheap though!

yeah, definitely would dig it. However, Japan isn't shipping to the US so I'll likely be waiting until that's restored.

How do you switch it to english? I know of Tennessee Waltz and Begin the Beguine, the latter of which I own, but what other titles were released. Some of these King releases were poorly documented online. I know I found a copy of Miles Modes a couple years before it was released and was super happy as I had only read one discography mentioning its existence. I think it was the poo sun blogspot or something along those lines.

If memory serves me correctly, I found my copy in 2016 or maybe 2017. I know I didn't know of its existence on youtube, though I would have still bought it. I thought it had recently been re-released but didn't see mention of it on discos. 

 

This is the only track I've heard from AAOBB album. Its fantastic though.

Thank you for the cdjapan link. I placed my order along with the Kaoru Abe - Tohoku Sessions 1972 which I’ve debating over for a while now. Figured if I spending for the shipping I might as well get both and save.

So I got an email from cdjapan that the Great Trio set is back ordered. My guess is they are waiting for the shipment from the pressing plant. At least that is my hope.

This set is magic. With as much as I love Tethered Moon (Kikuchi/Peacock/Motian) the Great 3 with Togashi in place of Motain is a different animal that works in a very transcendent way IMO. The interplay is more interesting.

I hope they do something similar with the Wave project (Peacock, Satoh & Togashi) from the 1980s, those three albums are long out of print and are excellent!
