Dan Gould
Man, I might want to spring for a Stylings of Silver JRVG but not the whole set I don't think. Love that record, though its been forever since I've pulled it out.

Kevin Bresnahan
Lon - as I'm considering selling a whole slew of Japanese mini-LPs, I am wondering where you came up with your asking price. These seem to sell for a lot more than $11.00 on most websites like discogs and eBay.
jazzbo
I came up with the price by my own bootstraps. I have been finding these with careful searching and patience from 10 to 18 dollars and decided that I wasn't intending to gouge anyone and mailing a bundle is cheaper and saves me time so came up with this price as a good deal for the buyer and an okay price for me--turned out to be good enough to make a sale in hours. I've got all but about 50 of this series so far. I won't pay these exorbitant prices and I won't sell at an exorbitant price. JSngry
I like the "focused bundle" approach, it's an appealing sales angle and priced to move. Of course, hindsight IS 20/20, but just saying...I don't think it's accidental that happy buyer and happy seller made a deal in, what, less than a day. Maybe the small bundling angle is the way to go. Edited January 25, 2021 by Son-of-a-Weizen

jazzbo
Pricing IS all over the map. But in a lot of cases that is just what some people WISH to receive. and they wait a long time and maybe don't ever get that price. I have found them for between 8 and 18 with patience, and in average about 12 or 13. I need about 50 or so to complete my series. . . my next targets are the Bud Powell volumes. Ebay and Discogs both have features where you can see what items actually sold for. I use that rather than the ask price a lot of times for pricing.
