Taste is taste but it's a shame because there's so much great music after 1960 in jazz/BAM. As much as I love hard bop these days, the more electronics integrated in stuff is what I gravitate towards now especially as I started to get into MIDI study theory and start creating music

In recent years I've heard him three times with Jack DeJohnette and Matt Garrison, once in a duet with David Virelles, and as a guest artist with Brandee Younger. For me, at this point in time he is quite good  on the higher pitched horns, soprano and sopranino, and decent on tenor. Somehow his tenor playing seems a bit underpowered.
